REM announce new album details
REM give birth announced details of their new album, which testament be released in the spring.
Billboard reports that 'Accelerate' will be released on 1 Apr and will feature the tracks 'Staring Drink down the Barrel of the Heart Distance', 'Living Easily Is the C. H. Best Revenge' and 'Horse to Water'.
Commenting on the direction of the band's 14th studio record album, REM's director, Bertis Downs, said: "It's not care we're going to pretend these ar ballads. These ar bikers."
Songs from 'Accelerate' were recorded at Grouse Lodge Studios in Co Westmeath.
REM previewed their newly material during the band's five-night run at Dublin's Capital of Washington House in the summer.
